Dynamo & Dash Charities Fun Run presented by Houston Marathon Foundation & Chevron

Saturday, April 5th @ 8 a.m.

Details:

Join us for a non-competitive fun run at Houston Sports Park on Saturday, April 5, 2025. Bring the whole family, including those in strollers as there are no age requirements! Choose between a 1-mile or 2-mile distance to walk or run and be sure to stick around for the FREE festival for all ages after crossing your finish line! PET POLICY: Please note that Houston Sports Park does not allow pets at their venue.  You will not be able to participate with your pet unless it’s a service animal. 

Registration:

  • Cost is only $15 for either distance
  • Everyone on course is required to be registered, including kids in strollers.

What’s included:

  • 1-mile & 2-mile distance options to choose from
  • A free ticket to a Houston Dynamo or Dash soccer match. Details will be sent out to participants after the fun run.

  • Post-run festival that will include soccer drills with the Dynamo & Dash, Chevron STEM Zone activation, bounce houses, wall climbing, gaming truck, face painting, and balloons, and that’s just the beginning!

Schedule:

  • 7 – 8:30 a.m. – Race Day Packet Pick-Up
  • 8:00 a.m. – 1-mile run and 2-mile run starts
  • 8 – 11 a.m. – Festival Hours
  • Packet Pick-Up – Monday, March 31 from 3-7 p.m. at Fleet Feet River Oaks

Houston Marathon Foundation

The Houston Marathon Foundation (HMF) is a community-based organization that serves the greater Houston area through its after-school running program, We Run Houston, and the HMF Scholarship, which awards $10,000 annually to three outstanding high school seniors who plan to attend a Texas college or university. The HMF is dedicated to supporting the advancement of running as an element of a balanced, healthy lifestyle in the Houston community.

Course Details

Description:

The 1-mile course will start on Kirby and complete one loop, finishing in the parking lot, while the 2-mile course will complete two loops before finishing in the parking lot. You have the option to run which ever distance you are comfortable with!
