2022 Athlete Development Program (ADP)

The athlete development program invites a LIMITED number of athletes who are provided with a priority starting location for the Chevron Houston Marathon or Aramco Houston Half Marathon. With an eligible qualifying time, athletes receive free entry* and a starting location just behind the elite athlete field and in front of the open field.

Athlete Development Program entries do not include the option to place individual fluids on course.

If you have completed a marathon or half marathon in the 18 months prior to the 2022 Chevron Houston Marathon/Aramco Houston Half Marathon, please email elite@houstonmarathon.com to apply for consideration.

Marathon Time Eligibility for Consideration:

Men: sub-2:35:00
Women: sub-2:55:00

Half Marathon Time Eligibility for Consideration:

Men: sub-1:11:00
Women: sub-1:21:00

*Athletes should contact the HMC about an ADP entry before registering. We will not be able to offer registration reimbursements for those athletes who registered and are subsequently accepted into the Athlete Development Program.
