Warm Up Series
The Fall Warm Up Series is a series of three races – Houston Half Marathon & Relay, HMSA Classical 25K, and Sugar Land Finish Line Sports 30K – is designed to give runners a systematic increase in distance under competitive conditions in preparation for the Chevron Houston Marathon to be run in January. The races, part of the Houston Area Road Runners Association’s Fall Series, are spaced about a month apart and are ideal for marathon training.

HOUSTON HALF MARATHON – Presented by Houston Striders – 10/27/2019
The first race of the series, the Houston Half Marathon & Relay marks the halfway point in training for winter races. The Houston Half Marathon starts and finishes at Sam Houston Park. All finishers will receive a race medal and a finisher’s singlet. Special awards will also be awarded to top finishers.
HMSA Classical 25K, 10 Miler & 5K – 12/01/2019
For the second race of the series, the Houston Masters Sports Association has gone back to its original 25K event. This race will take place at and around the Wortham Center in Downtown Houston.
Fort Bend Kia 30K – 12/15/2019
The Fort Bend Kia 30K directed by Finish Line Sports is the third race in the series. The certified triple-loop course begins and ends at Sugar Land Town Square. All finishers will receive a race medal and a long-sleeve tech shirt. Special awards will also be awarded to top finishers.
