Corey Broadway – Senior Manager, Event Operations

Corey Broadway joined the Houston Marathon Committee in November 2018. As the Senior Manager of Event Operations, Corey oversees a wide range of critical event functions including medical operations and logistics, management of the 175 year-round Committee volunteers, event credentialing, food and beverage program management, and the Hoopla course entertainment program.

Before joining the HMC, Corey worked as a Senior District Executive for the Sam Houston Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, for three and a half years. In that role, he managed, recruited, and trained several hundred volunteers, coordinated program activities, led fundraising efforts, and supported youth recruitment initiatives.

A native of the Houston area, Corey is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, Class of 2013. While at Texas A&M, he was a member of the Corps of Cadets and the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band. Corey enjoys spending time with his wife and two young kids and being outdoors. He has completed two half marathons and several other road and obstacle races.
