Chevron Houston Marathon & iTAB Announce Partnership for 2020
(Houston, Texas) – The Houston Marathon Committee (HMC) announced a new and exciting partnership with iTAB (medal personalization service) for its upcoming 2020 Houston Marathon Weekend of Events.
Hosted annually in January, the Chevron Houston Marathon, the Aramco Houston Half Marathon and the We Are Houston 5K presented by Aramco and Chevron have become the premier winter running events attracting 33,000 runners from across the globe. 2020 will mark the 48thanniversary of this weekend celebration and the partnership with iTAB enables runners to commemorate their personal milestones accomplished at these events.
“In Houston, we take immense pride in the fact that we extend Texas-Hospitality to every runner,” said Wade Morehead, Executive Director of the HMC. “It’s through partnerships like iTAB that we are able to focus on elevating each individual’s participant experience to make our event their own.”
Since its birth over a decade ago, more than 1,000,000 athletes worldwide have celebrated their incredible achievements with an iTAB. Now, the iTAB service is available for purchase to Chevron Houston Marathon and Aramco Houston Half Marathon participants – helping them to remember their race day for years to come.
“Increasingly, runners want to personalize their event day experience,” said Gary Cove, Sales & Marketing Director, iTAB. The iTAB service is a unique way for Houston’s participants to celebrate and share their individual journeys to the finish line.”
Participants can purchase their own iTAB for the 2020 events during registration for the 2020 Houston Marathon Weekend of events, which is currently open. Participants who have already secured entry for the 2020 events can simply log back into their participant account from chevronhoustonmarathon.com and order their iTAB*.
Runners simply collect their medal at the finish line and their iTAB will arrive in the mail a few days after the event engraved with their name & finish time.
*iTAB is currently not available for the 2020 We Are Houston 5K presented by Aramco & Chevron.
