Stephen Wolff
Stephen Wolff became a runner at the encouragement of his mother Lyn and a marathoner at the encouragement of his friend Dr. Funk, PhD. His current PRs include 2:42:49 in the marathon (2020) and 1:16:45 in the half (2019). Stephen runs here in Houston with the Houston Harriers. This is his second time pacing the Houston Marathon.

Luis Lopez
Hi! I’m Luis. I’ve started running since early 2018. I’m an engineer and amateur athlete in love with distance running. I have completed 5 marathons. My first one was in Monterrey MX, 2018. My second one was the Mexico City Marathon, after that came to my resume Chicago in 2019 registering a 3h04 hours. After that Phoenix with 2h50 (current PR) and finally Boston Marathon on October 11th, 2021.

Don Wang
I was a lazy sprinter in high school (200m, 400m), and the thought of running a marathon (or even a half) never crossed my mind until I was 25, when I watched as a housemate trained for her third consecutive Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon. Numerically-inclined, I thought it would be cool to run my age in miles, and I completed my first marathon at 2008 RnR (San Diego). Since then, I’ve run nearly 60 marys, most of them as a pacer, with a PR of 2:50 at 2019 NYC. As a pacer I strive to bank energy (not time) and go by even effort (slower on the uphills, faster on the downhills).

Lena Josifi
My name is Lena Josifi and I have been a runner for most of my life. My love for running led me to join the Vanderbilt cross country and track teams as a walk on in college. I trained for my first marathon afterwards and have since ran 10 marathons, including all of the World Marathon Majors. I am currently training for the California International Marathon in December, which will make pacing the Houston Marathon my 12th marathon. One fun running fact about me is that I was born in Albania and held the Albanian marathon national record from 2012-2020.
