In the event that a registered
participant in the 2009 Chevron Houston Marathon or Aramco Houston Half Marathon will not be able to participate in the race, he or she may
choose to transfer his or her registration to another runner. Individuals who did not register before the races reached their registration cap may put their name on a wait list to receive a transferred registration.Click here for more information on registration transfers and the wait list. Switching RacesClick here to switch your registration to another race. Registered participants may switch their registration from one race to another at any time before December 10, 2008. 5K runners will NOT be able to switch to the marathon or half marathon now that those races are sold out.All switches will incur a $10 administrative fee. In addition, participants switching to a more expensive race (i.e. half marathon to marathon) will be charged the difference between the price originally paid for the registration and the current price for the race to which the registration is being switched. ChampionChipParticipants who wish to purchase a reusable ChampionChip with the Chevron Houston Marathon logo may do so here. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO PURCHASE A CHAMPIONCHIP. A temporary chip will be provided for you to use during the race. If you do purchase a reusable chip, please send us an email with the chip number so that we can attach that information to your registration.
