Registration/Information Area

• Registration, Information and Lost & Found - 5:45AM - 12:00PM
  Volunteers will check in and register participants the morning of the run. Volunteers will also hand out race packets. During the expo volunteers will work at the lost and found table connecting children with their guardians as well as any lost items.
• Volunteer and Sponsor Food & Beverage - 5:00AM - 9:15AM
  Volunteers will set up volunteer and sponsor breakfast which includes setting out food, coffee and utensils while maintaining area cleanliness.
• Expo Food & Beverage - 6:00AM - 12:00PM
  Volunteers will cut and serve the participants fruit and drinks. All volunteers handling food will need to wear the proper gloves. As garbage cans fill, volunteers will replace. Empty bags located inside the trash cans.
• Corral & Directional - 6:00AM - 12:00PM
  Volunteers will help direct school groups and individual participants to the appropriate corrals, registration, starting line area, or any other place that they need to go for the run and expo. Volunteers will also supervise the corrals and assist with the transition onto the race course.
• Medals - 7:30AM - 10:00AM
  Volunteers will load the medal wracks and place them near the finish line. Volunteers will cheer on the finishers, distribute medals and direct them inside the GRB. Volunteers are to help prevent any backup or confusion on where to go after partipant receives the medal.
• Parking Lot - 5:30AM - 12:00PM
  Volunteers will be stationed in appropriate parking lots to direct school group buses and arriving volunteers. Volunteers will also assist with the adaptive participants parking.
• Bus Area - 6:00AM - 12:00PM
  Volunteers will assist school groups into the GRB and direct them to the appropriate corral or registration booth if they did not receive their race day packets. Volunteers will direct buses on where to park after they drop off the students. After expo volunteers will connect with coaches and radio their buses to pick up the students.
• Race Course - 7:30AM - 12:00PM
  Volunteers will drive golf carts and walk the route to ensure safety. Volunteers will work water stations and preset water using water jugs and paper cups. As garbage cans fill, volunteers will replace. Empty bags are located inside the garbage cans.
• Medical Area - Nurses - 7:30AM - 12:00PM
  Nurse volunteers will assist with any medical needs on the day of the Kids Fun Run in the Medical Area.
• Medical Area - General Public - 7:30AM - 12:00PM
  Volunteers will assist with medical volunteers with any medical needs.
