Strives to convey the importance of recognizing bereavement services as a basic and vital need for less fortunate residents throughout the Houston community - not for the benefit of the deceased, but to provide a hope and a future for their surviving loved ones.

ALS Association Texas Chapter
To lead the fight to cure and treat ALS through global, cutting edge research, and to empower people with Lou Gehrig's Disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support.

Avondale House
To provide children and young adults with autism the education and training to develop to their fullest potential. Provide educational services to children with autism. To that end, we operate a year-round day school where we serve about 55 students from more than 12 different school districts, ranging in age from 3 to 21 years old. We also have a smaller day habilitation program for young adults, where clients receive training in daily living skills and pre-vocational activities.

Back on My Feet
Back on My Feet (BoMF) is a national for-purpose 501(c)3 organization that uses running to help those experiencing homelessness change the way they see themselves so they can make real change in their lives that results in employment and independent living.

Our mission is not to create runners within the homeless population, but to use running to create self-sufficiency in the lives of those experiencing homelessness. The program's success is measured by how many Members achieve independence through employment and housing.

Buffalo Bayou Partnership
The Buffalo Bayou Partnership is the Houston non-profit organization dedicated to revitalizing and transforming Buffalo Bayou, our city's most significant natural resource. The Partnership coordinates the integration of major amenities, restoration and beautification projects into the Bayou greenbelt, and seeks ways to increase community involvement through pedestrian, boating and biking amenities; educational, volunteer and recreational activities and tours; permanent and temporary art installations and other natural and built attractions.

Covenant House Texas
Founded in 1983, we offer shelter and services to homeless and at-risk youth under the age of 21. Based on the belief that all children and youth have a right to love, respect and genuine concern, our mission is to offer homeless and runaway youth a safe haven from the dangers of street life and abuse as well as provide them with the necessary skills, training, and emotional support to choose positive life alternatives and develop into self-sufficient adults. After more than 28 years, Covenant House Texas remains the only organization in Texas providing an extensive continuum of care to homeless youth. We are open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

Houston Food Bank
The Houston Food Bank is the largest source of food for hunger relief charities in 18 southeast Texas counties. Houston SPCA
Founded in 1924, the Houston SPCA provides the most comprehensive array of animal adoption, shelter, rescue, rehabilitation, and other programs and services in the Gulf Coast area. We are committed to giving animals a second chance at life and intervene on behalf of more than 100,000 animals each year, including native wildlife; exotic species such as lions, tigers and bears; as well as companion animals like dogs and cats;, small mammals such as guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits; and horses and farm animals like cows, goats, sheep, and pigs. All programs and services offered by the Houston SPCA -- excluding adoptions, pet-training classes and Critter Camp -- are free of charge, and we proudly place 100% of our healthy, behaviorally sound animals into lifelong new homes.

Memorial Hermann Foundation
Memorial Hermann Healthcare System is a not-for-profit, community-owned, healthcare system, dedicated to providing high quality health services in order to improve the health of the people in Southeast Texas.
