Transfer Request Deadline Has Passed
We are no longer accepting transferred registrations.
Participants may switch events (i.e. marathon to half) until December 10, 2008. Click here to switch events.
Missed registration and looking for a bib?
There are currently more than 8,000 registrants on the wait list.
Now that the transfer request deadline has passed, we will not accept any direct transfers.
Expired and unclaimed registrations will be redistributed to those on the wait list allowing wait list participants to potentially receive a registration through November 30, 2008. If you receive a registration, please be sure to follow the instructions in the email and complete the online registration to participate in January.
All emails regarding transfers will come from transfer@chevronhoustonmarathon.com.
Please add transfer@chevronhoustonmarathon.com to your approved senders list to avoid your email client to label transfer emails as spam.
Below is the process to receive a registration via transfer:
- Fill out the wait list form. By filling out this form, you will be added to our wait list and assigned a wait list number. Registration to be on the wait list is FREE. Please note that because we do not know how many registered participants will wish to transfer their registrations, we cannot guarantee that everyone on the wait list will receive a registration.
- If a registration becomes available to you, because you have reached the top of the waiting list, you will receive an email with a link to an online registration form.
- When a registration becomes available to you, either because you have reached the top of the waiting list or were specified as the recipient on a transfer request form, you will receive an email with a link to an online registration form.
- You must complete the online registration form by the deadline indicated in your confirmation email in order to receive the transferred registration. Note that if you do not complete the form by the indicated deadline, you will NOT receive the transferred registration and will NOT be eligible to run. Entries received through the waiting list are non-transferable.
