Hotel Information

The Hilton Americas-Houston is the Official Host Hotel of the 2009 Chevron Houston Marathon. Connected to the George R. Brown Convention Center (location for the Roger Clemens Institute EXPO and packet pickup) and just 100 feet from the start/finish line, this contemporary, state-of-the-art hotel offers three restaurants, Java Coast Coffee Bar, and a fitness center and spa. The Hyatt Regency Houston, located just nine blocks from the start/finish line, places you in the center of race weekend activities. Rooms are $144/night. Click here or call 713-654-1234 to reserve your room.

The Four Seasons Hotel, downtown Houston’s only AAA Five Diamond hotel, is 6 blocks from the start line. Additional information can be found on the hotel website.

Air Travel

Continental Airlines is offering discounted airfares in and out of Houston to participants in the 2009 Chevron Houston Marathon and Aramco Houston Half Marathon. For details, visit Meeting Works at Continental.com and type in Offer Code ZE6KDJDYJP.

Houston's two major airports are both a 30- to 45-minute drive from the start line and the George R. Brown Convention Center. George Bush Houston Intercontinental Airport is located north of downtown on Highway 59 and is the larger of the two airports. William P. Hobby Airport is located south of downtown on Interstate 45. Contact your hotel to see if they offer shuttle service from either airport.
