2009 Bonus Money
The bonus structure for the 2010 Chevron Houston Marathon is subject to change. In 2009, in addition to prize money, a non-cumulative bonus structure was offered for times under 2:12 for men and 2:28 for women, with $10,000 being offered to the first runner under the existing Race Records. The men's record was 2:10:04 and the women's record was 2:24:40, both which were broken in 2009.

In addition to the $10,000 being offered for the first runner under our course record, the next two runners under the course record each won a $3,000 bonus.
All athletes were eligible to win money in more than one category except for the non-cumulative time incentive, which was only paid to the first place male and female that beat the time standard.
