Run for a Reason

Crossing the finish line of the Chevron Houston Marathon, Aramco Houston Half Marathon or EP5K is a well-deserved reward for all the hard work and training you do for your race. By participating in our Run for a Reason charity program, that hard work does more than get you to the finish line; it offers help and hope to the thousands of people who benefit from the charities in our program.

Participants and non-participants are welcome to become an active fundraiser for one of this year's 45+ Run for a Reason charities. More than a dozen new charities have been added to the program and that means more than a dozen new ways you can help! As a fundraiser, you can customize your personal online fundraising page, solicit support from your friends and family via email and track your progress instantly.

Our runners raised more than $1 million for charity in 2009. And with your help, we hope to set a new record in 2010!

Make every step of your race count by using your race to raise money for one of the official charities of the Chevron Houston Marathon, Aramco Houston Half Marathon, EP5K and ABB Team Challenge. At the end of the day, you can take pride in your race accomplishment - and in knowing that your efforts have helped thousands of others.
