Registration
Registration for the 2010 Chevron Houston Marathon opens on the morning of Friday, July 17, 2009 at 12:01 a.m. (CST).
The Chevron Houston Marathon and Aramco Houston Half Marathon will raise the combined cap from 18,000 to 22,000 participants for the January 17, 2010 races. Of the 22,000 entries, 11,000 entries will now be reserved for each of the marathon and half marathon participants. In addition to the cap increase, we have eliminated the Transfer System and added a two-year ban for unauthorized runners. We believe these changes, in addition to our start waves, will alleviate crowding concerns as the safety of our runners is our top priority.
