Tips from Medical Director John Cianca, M.D.
Greetings runners! Congratulations on undertaking the challenge to train for the marathon and half marathon. Training is a long process and we hope that we can help you through the journey. Our experience has taught us that not everyone gets through their training the same way and in the same time frame. While the process of training can be a challenge, many of you will find that participating to be very fulfilling.
Below are some training tips to help you minimize risks and pitfalls that often happen to runners as they train and race. Your safety is something we take very seriously so you can count on us to provide you with reasonable and helpful advice. Good luck!
