Participation in the elite division of the 2010 Aramco Houston Half Marathon is by invitation only.
The 2010 Aramco Houston Half Marathon is proud to host the 2010 USA Half Marathon Championships. Per USATF Championship guidelines, prize money will only be available to U.S. citizens.

Athletes who have been suspended for violations of the USATF or IAAF drug policy are eligible to participate in the Aramco Houston Half Marathon and related events if they meet the following criteria:
- Serve appropriate suspension time.
- Complete all requirements and conditions for reinstatement by USATF or IAAF.
- Meet Aramco Houston Half Marathon Elite Athlete Committee qualification standards after returning from suspension.
Athletes who have not met the above conditions will not be eligible for an elite number or any financial assistance.
