"Running for my S.I.L.L.Y."
I am running the 2014 Aramco Houston Half Marathon. While I have ran many, this time I am running for everyone who has been affected by cancer and most importantly in honor of my sister-in-law, also named Debbie Schuelke, who is currently battling breast cancer. Help me raise money for the Pink Ribbons Project.
Thank you to all who have generously helped me reach my goal. My goal was $100 for every mile I am running for the Houston Half Marathon. But please continue to donate to this wonderful charity that helps so many.
To the world, you're just one person, but to one person you can mean the world.
About Pink Ribbons Project
Pink Ribbons Project was founded by a group of dancers who were individually touched by breast cancer. Through that experience and perspective we have to believe that dance and the other arts:
- can educate and inform the mind in ways that traditional methods cannot
- can move people to action
- can inspire and lift the spirits of those with breast cancer
- can help heal the bodies of those fighting breast cancer
Our mission statement reflects these beliefs: Using the arts, Pink Ribbons Project saves lives and improves the quality of life for those touched by breast cancer.
